We are deeply enjoying the ministry that God has given us. This weekend we had a very good and profitable study of Galatians chapter 5 and discussed what it means to walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.
On Saturday we took a large group to Bernkastle-Kuse for a very large wine festival, carnival and fireworks show. I think it is the best fireworks show I have ever seen.
Sunday after chapel we walked to the castle and then saw a very different movie,
Lars and the Real Girl which led to some very deep and profound conversation about mental health. The group discussion was lively and the private conversation after that seemed really important and life shaping.
My Step-Mom, Glynda is with us and we are really enjoying her. We also have a young single gal, Meg, who is with us as she considers joining Cadence International. These two gals are adding a great deal of fun to the Festaburg. Glynda is 70 and Meg is 20; because of that they are adding a very fun perspective and dynamic to all our discussions and conversations.
This weekend we will have our normal dinner and Bible Study on Friday evening and then on Saturday we will take a group to Bastogne and the memorial cemetery at Luxemburg on Saturday.
